Holy SHIT balls.
The new Kittie is so fucking amazing. Like- “fuck off Otep, Morgan learned how to sing” amazing. I have been a fan since I had short hair and wore spiked kitten collars in 7th grade… back when wearing men’s dickies actually made a statement. Back when Brackish was the most hardcore girl band metal music ever- I had the Kittie’s “Spit” album stuck in my sticker covered portable cd player everyday. It could make any teenage girl pumped up. I think I just figured out why I used to fight all the time.
If that was a first Kittie experience for you- congratulations. But here is the new album’s single- “Cut Throat” and it is so much better. The recording sounds lightyears better and Morgan Lander’s vocals have reached “real metal band” material.
I highly recommend buying the new Kittie Album “In The Black”. It’s amazing.
